Radio Player
|
|
I notice on the Radio Player, it doesn't update what is being played on the radio currently. For instance, I tuned in a couple hours ago and the player still says 4 people listening and playing DJ Blang. On the website it says 5 people tuned in and I'm listening to DJ Klippa. Any way y'all gonna fix that soon?
One more thing. How can I get it to play on my winamp?

Hmm.. Sounds like the page just needs a refresh..
Yes, i normally listen with winamp.
Just do a right click -> open url -> http://www.everydayjunglist.org:8000 and you'll tune in with Winamp.

Need to add another Radio problem. On my laptop that uses Vista, if I try to listen to the radio and I click the radio link, the window for the radio pops up then says I need to install a plug in. I click the button and when it searches for the plug in, it says that it can't install the plug in. This isn't just my computer it's been like this for a few Vista owners as well.

The Video works but can't access the radio from the launcher without some sorta plug in. I have WMP so unless there is a different plug in for WMP out there. This is a new laptop too.

It's all good. I'm sure Super Kurt is around here somewhere. Probably getting his cape on so he can fly in here in with style to fix the problem.

OK I opened WMP and had the radio play for a couple of seconds on WMP. I closed it then clicked on the link for Radio and same problem comes up. Am I doing something wrong?

Re:

it sounds as if you have an issue with your browser plugin for WMP... what browser are your using? What media plugins do you hav4e install (WMP, WinAMP, Quicktime, ETC.) EDJ radio can be played via any of these media players and it should find the most suitable automatically based on your installation and browser.
check outside of your current browser try another browser and let me know if that works

This is a strange problem. I'm using Win 7 on my desktop and the latest Fire Fox. I'll click on the radio link and the player will pop up. I'll here the intro "you are now tuned into the sounds of Everyday Junglist Radio. Keep it Locked. What is it? Everday Junglist." Then its just dead air. I click on the video link, no problems.

Flowplayer requires Adobe Flash player in some browsers.
Make sure you have Flash installed.

Pretty sure my machine has the latest flash. Just weird how it plays the intro but then doesn't play anything else afterward. I'm in class right now so I'll have to play with it a little more when I get home.

Re:

OK so I just tested it out on Chrome, Fire Fox, and Internet Explorer. All the same. On IE, the video player says I don't have the latests version of Flash installed and I'm up to date. The flash website is down so I'll give it a try tomorrow but this is really weird. I shall continue to tune in through the video feed since that works.
