Oh hey so Kurt...was talkin to Jon last night. Talked about upgrading the server n whatnot (I mentioned to you several months ago) and so decided to upgrade to just set up a new box, have a lil overlap time to copy everything over, then just decommission the old box. But getting CentOS 6 64bit set up on the new one.
nice.
im running centos5.7 64bit on our dev server right now.. but i custom compiled a lot of packages.. so the version im using is pretty much unimportant.

heh right. well Fedora 12 (32bit even) was out of date, should be nice on the new server. Will have it set up hopefully in the next couple of days.

nick, i wouldnt upgrade unless there is a real reason to.. i would just compile the package that has the issue myself and put it in place.
its really all the 2.6 kernel at this point.

honestly, the edj server is "back reved".. but only because the packages that are out of date are so minor is meh to me.
and the last time i did update it.. most of edj tv broke, and i spend 4 days recompiling all the libs myself to fix it.
