Andrew Morehouse (Austin)
Growing up, Andrew Morehouse was exposed to many styles of music. However, when in middle school, one of his friends exposed him to electronic dance music. Andrew Morehouse continued to listen to other styles of music, but most of them faded away. Electronic dance music stuck with him through the years. He still continues to listen to other styles of music to get inspiration for songs, but mostly he is a purist of electronic dance music.
In April of 2000, while stationed in Fort Hood, Texas, Andrew Morehouse was taken to his first event where DJs were playing electronic dance music using two turntables and a mixer. What he saw astounded him and will never be forgotten. With two of the most prominent DJs in the United States playing that night, Frankie Bones and Heather Heart, he now knew his calling in life.
Being in the Army while trying to get recognized locally as a house DJ was a difficult task. Before he could really gain a foothold, Andrew Morehouse was deployed to Kuwait two times in a row. Shortly after returning from the 2nd deployment, he was sent to Korea to be stationed there for one year. During his year in Korea, which got extended by 3 months, he stayed in his bedroom every night practicing on two Technics 1200 Mk 3s, a Pioneer 600 mixer, and a small home stereo. After a few more years in the Army, Andrew Morehouse finally returned to what he now calls home, Austin, TX.
Since arriving back in Texas, Andrew Morehouse has been playing at events locally and around the state of Texas on a regular basis. With a range of styles from mellowed out deep house to funky high energy house, Andrew Morehouse is always a pleasure to hear perform.

House | Progressive | Breaks
Treehouse Tribe DJ
With a rich childhood filled with exposure to all sorts of music from death metal to bluegrass to psy-trance, anjlkllr brings to the table an interesting and driving mix of dirty electro, funky breaks, and a select bit of house & progressive house; sometimes even a bit of techno & tech house.
From early on, anjlkllr showed an aptitude for music; taking piano lessons for 4 years paved the way for a career in the fast-growing music industry.
As a teenager she was elevated to advanced choir within a year of starting and received private voice lessons, all the while stumbling around basic mixing & production programs installed on the school's computers.
After graduating high school, anjlkllr continued on the music side of her education by taking an advanced course in sound synthesis, topping off her already-wide knowledge base with the intricate workings of Ableton Live 7 & Reason 4.0. The icing on the cake was becoming a DJ to get her name out there.
Taught to spin by DJs Nate B & Enum, anjlkllr learned the most important necessities of beat-matching and mixing, as well as gaining a greater understanding of sound in general.

Moonstruck Red (Dallas)
Im Moonstruck Red, a Hardcore DJ from Dallas, Tx and I am HTID (Hardcore Till I Die). Yes, yes, I'm afraid its an addiction which cannot be cured. Along with my faithful Hardcore companions of Section 8 Underground and Purple Monkey, we have fought for our music and have had fun doing it
Between these two promotions we have shared many great Happy Hardcore Memories which include:
Alice in Kandiland I and II
Invasion of the Kandikids
Candy Mountain
OMGWTF
Flux Capacitor
Plurgasm
WITH PLENTY MORE TO COME!!!
Regardless of all that, Im just a DJ having fun. I dont have an ego, I dont have anything to prove, and I dont have any plans on becoming "famous" spinning UK/Happy
Hardcore. Im just a guy with a poor since of fashion who believes that if your not having fun, your missing out.
I try to leave a message behind the simple thing I do and that is the preaching of follow your dreams. The bigest investment you will ever make is in yourself.
Following your dreams takes sacrifice and believing in yourself. You will fall a dozen times before you finally succeed. There will be more people standing against you than with you telling you that you will fail. But dont ever give up no matter what. Cause when you do reach your pentical and prove everyone wrong they can't ever take that away from you. You will succeed and become something they could never be. A winner!!!

Section 8
Hometown: Miami, Florida
Preferred Genre: Gabber
P.L.U.R.Kid is a long-time veteran in the battle to rejuvenate Texas Hardcore. His roots extend from an old-school Happy Hardcore sound, spiced with a flavor born in firelit drum circles on the beaches of Miami. His hard-hitting Gabber arsenal is stocked to the brim with explosive basslines and savage industrial riffs virtually guaranteed to blow the floor up! P.L.U.R. Kid is a true believer in the fight for Hardcore, and his enthusiasm and unrelenting energy behind the decks never fails to electrify a crowd.
Hometown: Fort Worth, TX
Preferred Genre: UK Hardcore, D&B
Boy Scout is on a mission. His assignment: to push the revival of the Texas Hardcore scene! Armed with a crate of Hardcore vinyl and an almost inappropriate love of music, Boy Scout is prepared to take the Hardcore scene up a notch with his deadly combination of cheezy classics, bangin' anthems, and inspired track selection. He takes great pride in the tools of his trade; though some might consider them outdated and stale, Boy Scout trusts his wheels of steel and stacks of wax to get the job done with style and integrity.
Hometown: Fort Worth, TX
Preferred Genre: Drum 'n Bass
Often underestimated at first, DJ OMG has a killer knack for keeping the dancefloor moving, and is always able to keep a finger on the...pulse...of the crowd. The deepest member of the Section 8 Underground, OMG prefers his vocals minimalistic and his melodies simple, because he knows that nothing pushes buttons like a gut-wrenching bassline.
=====================================
RoboJoe -
has become a well respected hardstyle/hardtrance producer and
dj in the Dallas scene. He has scorched the dancefloors with his bangin tracks and skills behind the decks in the last 4 years. Now he has started his own production label which is Robotix Productions alongside with his partner DJ Drew and together they are know as the Texas Hardstyle Hitterz. Many of his styles (genres) include Psytrance(full-on), Freeform, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Electro/Progressive house , Retro Clash , Breaks , Hardtrance, Trance & Hardstyle... So be on the lookout cause he might be in your area one day !!!
=====================================
Dj Tranq -
I'm a dubstep dj that lives for Krunk Ass Beats. I love music, it fuels my mind, body, soul, and spirit. I started djing(hardstyle) back in 2007 with Moonstruck Red for Purple Monkey events but after getting robbed for all my equipment i was sidelined as a dj until this year. I came out with dubstep cause that wobble moves me. I have always loved hard hittin' basslines and Krunk drops. "All i hear is Krunk Ass Beats" is what i always say. This year i have played at Micks bar for Almost Better Than Sex, The Lizard Lounge for Hot Pink Delorean and Datsik and Mstreet for AfterDark Productions. I lay my heart and soul out in my music. I plan on doing big things this year and years to come. I love criticism when it comes to my performance.

The Children of Hameln
Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm
In the year 1284 a mysterious man appeared in Hameln. He was wearing a coat of many colored, bright cloth, for which reason he was called the Pied Piper. He claimed to be a rat catcher, and he promised that for a certain sum that he would rid the city of all mice and rats. The citizens struck a deal, promising him a certain price.
The rat catcher then took a small fife from his pocket and began to blow on it. Rats and mice immediately came from every house and gathered around him. When he
thought that he had them all he led them to the River Weser where he pulled up his clothes and walked into the water. The animals all followed him, fell in, and drowned. Now that the citizens had been freed of their plague, they regreted having promised so much money, and, using all kinds of excuses, they refused to pay him. Finally he went away, bitter and angry. He returned on June 26, Saint John's and Saint Paul's Day, early in the morning at seven o'clock (others say it was at noon), now dressed in a hunter's costume, with a dreadful look on his face and wearing a strange red hat. He sounded his fife in the streets, but this time it wasn't rats and mice that
came to him, but rather children: a great number of boys and girls from their fourth year on. Among them was the mayor's grown daughter. The swarm followed him, and he led them into a mountain, where he disappeared with them.
All this was seen by a babysitter who, carrying a child in her arms, had followed them from a distance, but had then turned around and carried the news back to the town. The anxious parents ran in droves to the town gates seeking their children. The mothers cried out and sobbed pitifully. Within the hour messengers were sent everywhere by water and by land inquiring if the children -- or any of them -- had been seen, but it was all for naught.
In total, one hundred thirty were lost. Two, as some say, had lagged behind and came back. One of them was blind and the other mute. The blind one was not able to point out the place, but was able to tell how they had followed the piper. The mute one was able to point out the place, although he [or she] had heard nothing. One little boy in shirtsleeves had gone along with the others, but had turned back to fetch his jacket and thus escaped the tragedy, for when he returned, the others had already disappeared into a cave within a hill. This cave is still shown.
Until the middle of the eighteenth century, and probably still today, the street through which the children were led out to the town gate was called the bunge-lose (drumless, soundless, quiet) street, because no dancing or music was allowed there. Indeed, when a bridal procession on its way to church crossed this street, the musicians would have to stop playing. The mountain near Hameln where the the children disappeared is called Poppenberg. Two stone monuments in the form of crosses have been erected there, one on the left side and one on the right. Some say that the children were led into a cave, and that they came out again in Transylvania.
The citizens of Hameln recorded this event in their town register, and they came to date all their proclamations according to the years and days since the loss of their children.
According to Seyfried the 22nd rather than the 26th of June was entered into the town register.
The following lines were inscribed on the town hall:
In the year 1284 after the birth of Christ
From Hameln were led away
One hundred thirty children, born at this place
Led away by a piper into a mountain.
And on the new gate was inscribed: Centum ter denos cum magus ab urbe puellos
duxerat ante annos CCLXXII condita porta fuit.
[This gate was built 272 years after the magician led the 130 children from the city.]
In the year 1572 the mayor had the story portrayed in the church windows. The accompanying inscription has become largely illegible. In addition, a coin was minted
