"Have been Dj'ing since 97. Started out as a house, speed garage, 2-step dj. I really hated the early sounds of DnB and jungle in my area (Tulsa, OK.)and not to mention most of the guys around that time where fucking grade A pricks, and where very, very limited to the variety of sounds that where around. Sometime around 98-99 a cat named Speck introduced me to early Nuero-funk, namely Ronie Size's Breakbeat Era project, fucking AMAZING. Sometime in 99-00 I opened up an after hours joint downtown Tulsa, that during the time became the hub of everything dance music for a bit. Shut down in late 2000 by a douche bag local buisness owner that claimed I was "stealing money from him by taking his customers" Looking back, I was lucky I didnt end up with more than a broken spirit. I then went on a bull shit soul seeking venture and started producing using Reason 1.0. Slowly I was starting to incorporate DnB and darker 2-step(soon to be coined dub-step) into my listening scope, and by the time I got to noisia, raiden, chris su and skc, the bug had taken full effect. I am part creator of Bassemeant, and Samurai Dubz,an umbrella of sorts to keep us DnB and dub-step dj's active locally, and now regionally, and of course you guys all know about O.K.J.A., which, unfortunately I have not had time to participatein lately, but my trusted partners in crime DEMONIC(another origianl bassmeant member) and FRANK GRIMES(newest to bassmeant) can hold down with the best of em. we, as in Bassmeant, have been working together for almost 2 years now, and have started booking international producers/dj's(thats big for where we are from) such as Nightwalker, and APRIL 22ND we are bringing Twisted Individual. Currently, I am working on an project that will hopefully crystalize into a live band performance, and I also produce other styles of dance music under the name "trigga-fingaz" and those of you that catch me with wax can call me Balance.
