"DJ Random-Swych started out in his late teens as a DJ, playing underground music at house parties & locally organised events, also spending hours of mixing in his home-built studio.
Recognized locally for his mixing talent and playing at local events, DJ Random-swych also decided to go into the production side of things, co-producing with the likes of DJ Klippa.
Having the experience as a DJ, he knows what works for live sets and follows that rule with most of his own tracks, making his music pleasurable listening experience.
In 2005 our crew (MAYHEM) was established, since then things have not slowed down, instead they have only speeded up: Other artists are wishing to work with the Mayhem Crew regularly meaning he has his work cut out for him.
More recently (Summer of 200

, Swych & his manager/co-promoter, Lisa-D launched Urban Burton @The Sanctuary, Burton. Hiring the likes of Derby's very own Bassline Smith & Drumsound proving the opening night to be a great success which has lead to Random-Swych being hired by Bassline Smith, for Techniques' legendary resident night, INTERFACE. Having previously supported DJ HYPE, Swych is well on the ball for a heavy set with the one & only EXECUTIONER....Andy C!!

In the future he is looking to expand his relationships with other UK Circuit producers to bring more collaborations and remixes to the scene.
His mission is to try to create original tracks that are dance-floor orientated and generally bring a good vibe to any crowd, whilst maintaining space for the MC to talk over, keeping good length, so that the DJ can really rip it up.
DJ Random-Swych's sound is mainly computational, although he uses elements from classic instruments to make original hybrids designed to keep everyone's ears burning for more.
He tries to do things that havent been done before.
DJ Random-Swych's music is a genre of ALL Drum & Bass!!, with a few grime acapella's incorporated."
